Internet is a wondrous tool and I use it, (ain't I a fool?)for you dear pupils, who wish to speak the Queen's English. Well, maybe not but at least, if asked whether you speak English or not, don't say: "I do not!"

Nasa launches Earth hunter probe
The Kepler telescope will orbit the Sun to watch a patch of space thought to contain about 100,000 stars like ours.[...] Controllers took their first opportunity to launch the probe, at 0349GMT (2249EST) on 7 March, 2009. Kepler blasted off atop a Delta II rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. "This is a historical mission; it's not just a science mission," said Dr Edward Weiler, Associate Administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at Nasa."I maintain that it really attacks some very basic human questions that have been part of our genetic code since that first man or woman looked up into the sky and asked the question: 'are we alone?'." ... Nice video of the lift off here: and the article in full.

Discovering what causes auroras to change will provide scientists with important details on how the planet's magnetosphere works and the important Sun-Earth connection.
