On CBS tv network, a Republican presidential primary TV debate took place from Wofford College in South Carolina between Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum.
Have you already heard of those politicians? One of them will be chosen in the Republican primaries to represent the GOP in the 2012 U.S. presidential elections. And might become the next U.S. Prez...
(reminder: GOP stands for Grand Old Party i.e. the Republican party.
Bush, father and son were Republican presidents whereas Clinton husband and wife and Obama are democrats.)
Only 89 seconds of the Ron Paul answers were broadcast on TV. Yet, he receives most of the applause and cheering in the introduction.
The other parts are available online. And here is cbsnews comment after the debate.http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57323720-503544/cbs-news-nj-gop-debate-winners-and-losers/
