Hi there, language students!

My name is Erin, and I was the English Assistant last year at Lycée Arago. Now, back home in the States, I still enjoy reading this blog. I would be interested to read (and reply to) some of your opinions here in the "English Room"!

This video really surprised me: I didn't expect to relate to these children and their feelings so much.

I live in a very small town called Felton, PA; about 500 people live here. The area of our town is about 2 km x 2 km. It would easily fit inside the exclusion zone... When Rikku talks about his town, I ask myself, "What would happen if we were ordered to leave Felton for many years?" Of course, my adult mind thinks of the serious health problems, but my immediate response is very simple: it's about my house, my neighbors, and the fact that this gives me "the creeps" too!

What surprised you in this video?
